Conference on 'Awaiting Imam al-Asr in Islamic Sects' in Georgia

The scientific conference called Awaiting Imam al-Asr (as) in Islamic Sects was held in Al al-Bayt Institute in Tbilisi, Georgia in which participants discussed different topics about Imam al-Mahdi (as) according to Islamic sects.

Hawzah News Agency (Tbilisi, Georgia) – Several prominent figures including Hujjat al-Islam Ojaghnezhad, representative of Iranian Supreme Leader in Caucasus, Haj Ramin Igdiev, member of the Georgian Muslim Association, Haj Yasin Aliev, Mufti of Eastern Georgian Muslims took part in the event which was held last week in Tbilisi.

 

At the beginning of the event, Haj Ramin Idgiev, member of Muslim Georgian Association, elaborated on some Islamic narrations as well as Quranic verses on the importance of Imamate in different eras and highlighted believing in such concepts.

 

Haj Yasin Aliev, Mufti of Eastern Georgia, was another speaker of the event; he pointed out that arrival of the final savior is the necessary condition to administer justice in the world; then he explained the concept of believing in the final savior based on Sunni sources and narrations.

 

Hujjat al-Islam Ojaghnezhad, Ayatollah Khamenei’s representative in Caucasus, delivered a speech on the philosophy of believing in Imam al-Asr (as) and elaborated on the characteristics of awaiting Imam al-Mahdi (as), belief in him and the significance of appearance of the final savior according to different Islamic sources and sects.
